The Admissions Process

At Children’s Own School, we try to keep the admissions process as simple as possible. Our Open House is the opportunity to get to see our facilities and meet our community before you apply, but the essence of the school must be experienced when school is in session! We look forward to getting to know your family during the admissions process.

We are looking for families committed to Montessori education and who are ready to stay for the developmental cycle of our primary program.  Therefore, we do not rank applications based on when they are received.  Admission is determined after careful consideration as to the appropriate placement for the child and with attention to balancing our classrooms by age and gender.

Once an application is submitted, we will invite you in for a tour of the school, a classroom observation, with the opportunity to meet with staff to answer your questions.
